I was browsing over at Eat Drink Chic and found the most A-DORABLE DIY popsicle memory game!!! Here's some super cute sugar-free fun!

Here's what you need:
Free printables from Eat Drink Chic (I suggest printing on card stock if you can - makes the cards a little sturdier)
Elmer's glue
Popsicle sticks

Here's what you do:
1. Carefully cut out the popsicle shapes
2. Fold on the lines
3. Add small amount of glue between popsicle images, add popsicle stick, and fold.

4. Allow to dry and have fun!

Super happy kiddos! They played for an hour.

IDEA: I'm going to print/make another set of cards and modify each slightly - to make double the number of cards!

(see Eat Drink Chic's original post for better instruction and photography ;-) (I know I need a better camera, but alas time and money don't allow for that at the moment, so you're stuck with my lovely cell phone images)

Geometric Tote Bag

Super duper cute tote bags, courtesy of my cousins Stephanie and Emily!

Here's what you need:
-Fabric paint
-Brushes of different sizes
-Canvas tote bag (whatever size you like...we went with little ones for little girls)
-Scotch tape

Here's what you do:
1. Lay tape in straight lines across bag.
2. Use wide brush to paint between the tape lines. Using similar colors creates a more subtle, unified look.... lots of different colors creates a bolder, brighter look.
3. Let paint dry.
4. Remove tape
5. Bask in the beauty of your adorable little bag.

ALTERNATIVELY,
Just use the brushes and paint!  With those little puffy fabric paints, you can apply directly from the tube for a thicker line, or with a brush for something more painterly.

Have fun!

(My apologies, I'm just learning how to phone-blog and I can't figure out if/how to place photos any place other than at the bottom :-p )

Back up!

Trying my first-ever smart phone post...

Testing, testing, 1...2...3...

Visiting family in Wisconsin and feeling inspired to get back into the blog-o-sphere.

I never stopped crafting, just got to lazy to post!  But I'm back!

And, as always, guest posts are welcomed and encouraged! I'd like to see this as a craft-idea sharing community!
