Cleaning/Organizing with Kids

I have found that part of creative child-raising includes creative organizing strategies. It's very difficult to maintain sanity when you can't find anything you need and things look like a tornado just struck.

Let me preface this section by letting you know that I am NOT a naturally organized person. In fact, without concerted effort, my surroundings wind up looking like a hurricane just blew through my house (I'm into weather metaphors today). Adding two kids into the picture certainly didn't help things. I have also noticed that my mental health is a bit better when I can actually find what I'm looking for (nothing ruins your morning like having to spend 30 minutes looking for a hairbrush). I also enjoy having remotely organized surroundings.

This section is purely to share some ideas that have made my life a little easier.
