Easy Fabric Wall Hanging
While at the fabric store this morning shopping for supplies for our tablecloth playhouse, we ran across some really cute clearance fabric that my 2-year-old was in love with (had a print from a TV show she likes). Snatched up the cheap-o fabric and a cross-stitch hoop and made a hanging for her wall!
Here's what you need:
Fabric (about 12" x 12" - a fat quarter would work for this too)
A cross-stitch hoop (whatever size you like - I went for the largest one they had)
Scissors
Here's what you do:
1. Spread out your fabric and lay the cross-stitch hoop over it to select the part you want showing in your final project.
2. Insert the fabric into the hoop. Make sure it's taut - you can tug on the edges to tighten it if you need to.
3. Tighten the little screw.
4. Cut along the edges of the hoop to remove the excess fabric.
5. Hang it up!
