Easy Holiday Candy

Stopped by Joanne Fabrics the other and, to my delight, all of their holiday items are a whopping 70% off already. So we scooped up a bunch of fun things - including everything needed to make holiday chocolate lollipops!

They were so easy to make, and the kids had a blast (and even more fun eating them).

Here's what you need:
A bag of candy melts
A lollipop mold
Lollipop sticks

Here's what you do:
1. Melt down your candy melts. If you want to be fancy, get multiple colors and swirl 'em together. I used a double-boiler, but you can do this in your microwave too.

2. Pour the melted yumminess into your molds. I used a spatula to get it all out of the pan - the kids had fun helping with this.

3. Insert lollipop sticks into the mold - make sure they go at least halfway up the length of the lollipop or they'll fall out when the candy is removed from the mold.

4. Cool in fridge for about an hour.

5. Eat!!!
