I saw a photo of something similar to this online a while back...it is so cool I had to try it myself.
Here's what you need:
A canvas
Crayons (I needed about 40 for the 18-inch-wide canvas)
Hot glue gun
Hair dryer
Here's what you do:
1. Glue the crayons along the top edge of the canvas - one strip of glue along the entire edge of each crayon.
2. Angle the painting about 70 degrees so the crayons don't drip onto the floor.
3. Put the hair dryer on "high" and hold it about 2-3 inches from the crayons.
4. It will only take a minute or two for them to start melting...just move the dryer along the line of crayons. It takes about 5 or 10 minutes to melt them all and you're done!
Happy Melting!
