Quick and Easy No-Sew Fleece Scarf

I secretly love winter for an excuse to wear scarves. I like the cute dressy ones to wear to work, and I love the coziness of the big thick ones outdoors.  My kids love scarves too. Here's a really easy way for them to make their own scarves, with just a little help from you. Fleece is the most forgiving material on the planet and doesn't need to be hemmed, so you can make the whole thing without pulling out your sewing machine.

Here's what you need:
1/4 yard fleece
Iron-on patches
Scissors
Iron

Here's what you do:
1. If you have the folks at the fabric store cut your fleece into 1/4 yard pieces, you're already halfway there. It's the perfect width for a scarf. If you want yours a little thinner, then trim the edge.

2. Trim the ugly manufacturing edges from both ends of your fleece.

3. Add fringe on the bottom of the scarf.

4. Iron your patches to the bottom edges of your scarf. Done! Wasn't that easy?!
